This week is National Eating Disorders Awareness Week. RSADDA will be posting daily messages to help raise awareness of different eating disorders. There are also posters around school to increase awareness and body acceptance.
It is estimated that over 28 million Americans will have an eating disorder in their lifetime. It can be hard to know where to start if you or a loved one has eating disorder symptoms. Starting the conversation early can prevent an eating disorder and provide resources to someone you know who may be living with an eating disorder.
