CAPTAIN SERIES: LEADERS ON AND OFF THE FIELD

We’re excited to kick off our Riverdale High School Captain Series, recognizing the student athletes who have been chosen by their teammates to lead their teams.

We begin with our Girls Soccer Captains:

WELCOME NEW STAFF Mr. Brandon Miller 4th Grade Science and Social Studies Brandon joins the Riverdale team as a first-year educator, teaching 4th Grade Science and Social Studies. He graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2026 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Brandon holds a K-5 teaching license and is excited to begin his career in education. We are thrilled to welcome Brandon to the Riverdale team! RIVERDALE FALCONS RIVERDALE LOCAL SCHOOLS WELCOME NEW STAFF Ms. Vaiden Mallonn HS Intervention Specialist Vaiden will be starting her third year working in education. Previously, she taught 6th Grade ELA and Science at Fostoria, as well as serving as a Middle School Intervention Specialist at Columbus City Preparatory School for Boys. Vaiden is a 2024 graduate of Heidelberg University, where she earned an undergraduate degree in Middle Childhood Education (ELA and Social Studies) and Special Education. She is also currently working toward her master's degree in Special Education at Ohio University. She later returned to Bluffton University to earn her Special Education Certification. Marisa has served as an Intervention Specialist with the Putnam County ESC for one year, Ottawa-Glandorf High School for four years, and most recently, Donnell Middle School for the past five years.
