Many thanks to Mrs. Baumer and the FFA for sponsoring our Harvest Day for students in K-3! We enjoyed a hayride, pumpkin patch, animal petting zoo, hot chocolate, butter making, and more! What a wonderful day!

Our 5th Grade Donuts with Dad will be held next Fri. Oct. 25 at 8:05am in the cafeteria!

Our friends at McComb wanted to make the Riverdale community aware of a couple of charity drives they are undertaking. If you plan on attending the football game on Friday and would like to donate to either cause, it would be greatly appreciated.

Please join us for our Veterans Day assembly on 11/8/24 at 10:30 am. If you are a veteran and plan to attend, please call us to register at 419-694-2211 extension 1112 by November 6th. After the assembly, we will be having a luncheon for the veterans . Check out the attached flyer for all the information!

Veterans Day is quickly approaching and we would love to have you submit your Veteran information so that we can add them to our Veterans Day wall! Previous submissions will be hung up. Your veteran does not need to be a Riverdale graduate or be living in the community. Submissions are due by November 1st along with a picture emailed to bhayter@riverdalefalcons.org. As the temperatures fluctuate with the changing of seasons, please be sure to dress your child/ren appropriately for cooler weather. We go outside for recess when the 'feels like' temperature is above 20° as fresh air has been shown to increase energy levels and clear the mind. Warm coats, hats, gloves/mittens, socks and scarves are essential clothing elements to combating the cooler temperatures. Thank you for your help!

Jostens met with our Freshmen and Seniors this morning to discuss class rings and graduation information. Links for ordering caps and gowns, graduation invitations, rings, and other items were sent to student and parent emails this morning. Please contact the high school office if you did not receive an email and need the information. The 8th grade class had the great opportunity today to visit the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 NEVER FORGET Exhibit at Van Buren Schools. Students got to hear actual accounts from firefighters who were involved in the rescue and recovery efforts as well as see photos and artifacts. Thank you to Van Buren schools who invited us to be a part of the event.

Welcome ALL Falcon Grandparents.... We have a great program planned for today which starts at 1:30pm in the RHS gym. Thank you to our amazing PTO for donating the water and cookies..

The Middle School Halloween Dance will be held on Friday, November 8th from 6 - 8. Students will be able to wear costumes, but masks are not to be worn due to safety. The cost is $5.00 for entry, a snack, and a bottle of water. There will be a prize for the best costume.

Scholastic Fall book Fair Nov. 4-Nov. 8, 2024, in the library. Family Fun Night Nov. 7, 2024 in the Gym , 5:30pm-7:30pm.

October 10, 2024, Riverdale Local Schools and law enforcement has investigated a social media post concerning the district's safety and security. At this time, it has been determined NO viable threat to our students, staff, or the district. School will resume at 8:00am.

Raise The Bar and area businesses/Industries hosted a Career Connections Day for all 8th graders in Hancock County. A great hands on learning experience for our 8th graders.

Every year, four sophomores are chosen to participate in the Hardin County Leaders program. These students are chosen based on their ability to lead and be positive influences on their peers and community. This year, Samuel Boucher, Cole Tucker, Annalese Woodruff, and Dylann Thacker are representing Riverdale in this program. On Wednesday, we toured Ada's school, learned how to be an effective public speaker, and networked with student leaders from other Hardin County Schools. Thank you for representing Riverdale Sam, Cole, Dylann, and Annalese!
