Congratulations to our academic award winners from our High School banquet last night! Scholarship pictures have been emailed to students to distribute to parents. If you're receiving an award and couldn't attend, or if you need a copy of a picture from last night, please contact Mrs. Shaw!

Falcons play at Fifth Third Field at 7:00pm TONIGHT! Riverdale baseball vs. the Bluffton Pirates, the game will be played at the Home of the Toledo Mud Hens. The Spirit bus departs at 5:30pm, students wanting a ride to the game, contact the RHS office to join the spirit bus.

Falcons travel up to Fifth Third Field this evening to take on Bluffton! If you don’t have plans, make the trip up and enjoy a great night of baseball at the Mud Hens facility! Gates open at 6 (use the home plate gate) and fans get in free. Falcons pull out at 4:45 from the school and the spirit bus leaves at 5:30. Pre game festivities will begin at 6:45!

Ball Metal community can collection will be tomorrow and Thursday. Please bring bagged aluminum cans to the green dumpster by the bus parking. This program allows our seniors to participate in the Ball Metal Scholarship.

Looking for an entertaining Friday evening outing? Come join us on Friday May 10th at 7pm. for the Riverdale Middle School production of Complaint Department and Lemonade. Doors open at 6:30. All tickets are $5 at the door.

Middle School play "Complaints & Lemonade" witty and hilarious show, showtimes Friday at 1:30pm & 7:00pm.

Congrats to our Hardin County Youth Leaders Paige Courtad, Emily O'Flaherty, Nathan Alge and Grant Inbody. These four outstanding students were recognized today at the year-end banquet where they presented 3 Riverdale teachers with grants for their classrooms. Great job guys!!!

Riverdale High School (Mt. Blanchard/Hancock County) seeks a dynamic high school HEAD FOOTBALL COACH for the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will demonstrate: effective organizational skills; the ability to build a complete staff; a willingness to work with athletic department staff and other team coaches; and the development of an effective training/practice schedule. Interested candidates should possess or be able to obtain a pupil activity permit, and should contact AD Nate Sorg at nsorg@riverdalefalcons.org. An anticipated intervention specialist teaching position is also available for the 2024-2025 school year. The coaching position will remain open until filled

The Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award Program was established by the OESCA to promote and recognize outstanding academic achievement. One senior from each Ohio school is nominated, receives a scholarship, and is asked to attend a luncheon in which they honor their most influential teacher. On Sunday, May 5th we celebrated Andrew Woodruff, Riverdale's Franklin B. Walter winner, and his most influential teacher, Mr. Eric Sudlow. Congratulations!
