Third Grade explored the different stages of the Rock Cycle by seeing the effects of heat and pressure using AirHeads candy. All three classes then took a "field trip" to Mrs. Thacker's room to learn about the geological features of National Parks and see her rock collection.

Mrs. Suever's 3rd grade class explored division by separating counters or cubes into equal groups. They were given total amounts to start with, and also the amount of groups they needed to split the items into. They recorded their totals, and any remainders. It was a fun way to "see" how division works as we begin to learn about it!
RSADDA Students are hanging posters and information on suicide prevent for National Suicide Prevention Month. RSADDA would like to invite everyone to wear purple on September 29th to raise awareness.
