Congratulations to the High School Quiz Bowl team for having a stellar start to their year. They opened NCOESC league play 2-1 with wins over New Riegel and Old Fort. The team will next compete Sept. 30 at the NAQT Tiffin Columbian Exposition tournament.
Mrs. Thacker's third grade hosted visitors from Japan last week. The Japanese college students taught the students some traditional games and things about Japanese culture. The Riverdale 3rd graders shared their favorite recess games with their new friends.
Mr. Jackel reviewing WWI terms for the unit test, his students also reenacted the "Treaty of Versailles" today in class.
Third grade started the year learning about the scientific method. They put what they learned to the test by experimenting about which cookies would float in milk.
